As I look back through my photo archives I realize how much I miss taking photos on a daily basis. It was like a daily exercise, but exercising my creativity and mind. But with so much juggling going on right now between real estate and innkeeping, something had to be put on the back burner and photography it was. Orchids are among my favorite flower but most interesting to photograph. There are so many intricate parts on which to focus, always a challenge!
This is the Rosa Rugosa bush (flowers not present in this photo) and the red bud you see are rose hips. Bokeh is a photographic term for the desired quality of the blurred section of a photograph (the highlighted out of focus circles)
