Just my fascination of shooting nature…

I love the detail in the bee’s “fur”!

Here are four completely different examples of various lighting and depth of field that I just love to play with!

LOOK at that face! This was taken at a small B&B/Farm in Maine

This was taken at a small B&B/Farm in Maine. The lighting in the barn was just perfect to capture this little one! Only a face a mother could love?

Awww, look at that face!

Wile E. Coyote posed for my camera today…through the glass, thankfully…

A Vivid Fuchsia Peony

One of my favorite Maine sunrise photos…

I posted this on my Posterous blog a few days ago but try not to duplicate photo posts but I’ll make an exception on occasion. I like this shot because the water was so still and the sky so clear with just a few wispy clouds against the vivid orange. This was not color altered at all!

A funky, gnarly tree becomes art in the eye of the beholder…

this is from atop Cadillac Mountain, Acadia National Park, Maine…

Gorgeous Autumn Foliage in Acadia National Park

I’m glad I headed up Cadillac Mountain yesterday on my way home from the annual Maine Association of Realtors Convention to capture the foliage this year; today’s wind and rain may just cause many of the peak-colored leaves to fall.

The Stunning Cereus Plant in Bloom

My friend Kate gave me a cutting of this plant from hers which was hitting the ceiling in her dining room. This is the first bloom – it’s about 7 inches in diameter and smells incredible!
