Good Morning from Maine!
This year, fireworks were launched from a barge off Dysarts Marina (it looks as if the boat is on fire!) and were sponsored by Gilley’s Head of the Harbor Restaurant along with several donors to make it happen! This was the view from my house, so I set up the camera and tripod and hoped for good weather! It was my first time shooting fireworks and it wasn’t easy manually focusing on a moving subject in the dark but some of these came out pretty well.
I love taking pictures of lighting. These are very interesting pendant fixtures which gave me some fun bokeh!
I had a glass of Gerard Bertrand Viognier Reserve Speciale – Pays D’Oc, France 2010 today on the deck at the Chart Room at the Black Point Inn. It’s a very reasonable $15-$18 buy. Highly recommended…the wine and the outdoor dining!
This photo was taken at the Gifted Hand show a couple years back in Ellsworth, Maine. I bought some of the Sister’s Soaps but it was the amazing color that caught my eye!
I did a photo shoot for a craft fair a couple years ago and this artist does some gorgeous things with yarn! Check out the website.
This is East Quoddy Light
I LOVE being in Portland right now but I do so miss waking up and grabbing my camera to capture the amazing sunrises in Southwest Harbor! These are from my archives…
This was taken at a small B&B/Farm in Maine. The lighting in the barn was just perfect to capture this little one! Only a face a mother could love?
This is actually Maine. It’s a wonderful spot at the tip of Clark Island, down between Spruce Head and Port Clyde with a shallow area with sand and clear turquoise water!
It WAS this orange! Spectacular!
