Sutton Island is the middle island in the distance (a few miles offshore from Southwest Harbor). Now you see it…
Now you don’t!
So the sun FINALLY came out about an hour ago. FOG all day along with heavy and constant rain. Fog stuck around though the rain stopped. And then peekaboo, the sun came out! Time to celebrate (as my friend says, “champagne for everyone!”) So I’m working from my home office, naturally facing out toward the harbor, so I can be ready to take photos at any given time. and I realize Sutton Island (the one in the middle in the distance) is gone! So the fog hasn’t rolled in on dry land (yet)…so Sutton Island is ‘now you see it, now you don’t’!

Just beautiful…fog is mysterious…then the sun burns it off just enough to give the water a bit of glimmer…I think I’d have to take up photography if I ever really have time…
