I’m glad I headed up Cadillac Mountain yesterday on my way home from the annual Maine Association of Realtors Convention to capture the foliage this year; today’s wind and rain may just cause many of the peak-colored leaves to fall.

The crisp morning air in mid to late August on MDI reminds me that foliage season is approaching…this was on the Parkman Mountain trail, looking up at one of the Rockefeller bridges.

so I might be a bit premature with the foliage shots…Sawyer Pond is a very small pond just east of Moosehead Lake. The colors last year were just gorgeous around the rim of this pond.
