Move over Mojito…

There's a new cocktail in town… my new favorite: Cold River Vodka (made in Maine, of course), add the juice of 1 lime, 1 lemon, 1 small orange with a touch of basil simple syrup, lemon peel and orange zest. Well shaken with ice and served over ice. This is my twist on a drink I had at Maine Bartender's Bash. Any ideas on what to call it? Triple-citrus-basil-tini?

An apple a day?

Maybe not this kind of apple…1 part vodka, 2 parts DeKuyper Sour Apple Schnapps, ice, shake and pour into a caramel dipped martini glass. Cheers!


Sangria with a Citrus Twist

For this light and refreshing “Sangria” I used a Grenache Rose and Club Soda (ratio of 3 to 1), the juice of half of a lime and a hefty splash (who measures?) of Limoncello Liquor. Shake, pour over ice and enjoy!
